#include <windows.h>

		NULL, NULL, hInstance, NULL);

    ShowWindow(hwnd, iCmdShow);
    UpdateWindow(hwnd);

    while(GetMessage(&msg, NULL, 0, 0))
    {
		TranslateMessage(&msg);
		DispatchMessage(&msg);
    }
    return msg.wParam;
}

LRESULT CALLBACK WndProc(HWND hwnd, UINT message, WPARAM wParam, LPARAM lParam)
{
    HDC         hdc;
    PAINTSTRUCT ps;
    TcHAR       szBuffer[] = TEXT("Jakiś tekst");

    switch(message)
    {
    case WM_CREATE:
		return 0;

	case WM_PAINT:
		hdc = BeginPaint(hwnd, &ps);

                TextOut(hdc, 0, 0, szBuffer, lstrlen(szBuffer));

		EndPaint(hwnd, &ps);

    case WM_DESTROY:
		PostQuitMessage(0);
		return 0;
    }
    return DefWindowProc(hwnd, message, wParam, lParam);
}

w procedurze okna WndProc definiowana jest zmienna szBuffer zawierająca ciąg znaków który jest później wyswietlany przez TextOut podczas obsługi komunikatu WM_PAINT

TextOut(hdc, x, y, text, dlugosc);

hdc - uchwyt kontekstu urzadenia
x, y - chyba wiadomo
text - to tez chyba wiadomo :P
dlugosc - dlugosc lancucha znakow pobierana jest za pomoca lstrlen(); dla wersji Unikodowej

A tak <ort>w ogóle</ort> to radze przeczytac jakas fachowa lekture np. Chales Petzold "Programowanie Windows"
